    The C-For-Chinese Program is planned and funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and jointly initiated by three universities and two non-governmental organizations. Since its launch

    In 2016, the program was committed to promoting culturally responsive teaching and creating a joyful and meaningful learning environment for minority ethnic, non-Chinese-speaking kindergarten students through a collaborative "family, school, community" approach and evidence-based methods. It aims to enhance the Chinese proficiency of minority ethnic, non-Chinese-speaking kindergarten students while helping Chinese-speaking students develop better social skills.

    Building on the success of the first phase, the program has initiated the second phase to develop "culturally responsive education standards" to further enhance the Chinese proficiency and socio-emotional skills of minority ethnic and local Chinese-speaking students. The program, practice-based, aims to promote Chinese learning and socio-emotional development among non-Chinese-speaking minority students and Chinese-speaking students, enabling them to better adapt to the transition from kindergarten to primary school. The program aims to support 42,000 kindergarten students, including 5,100 minority ethnic non-Chinese-speaking students and their families by 2026.

     Our company's involvement includes:

    • Supplying 2,650 audio pens to over 30 kindergartens;
    • Converting 42 "cultural responsive series" textbooks into versions compatible with audio pens for use in all participating schools;
    • Providing over 300 hours of professional recording and post-production services.
